Kores Holding Zug AG (in the following: Kores) is firmly committed to data privacy. Therefore, as a matter of course, we strictly adhere to the legal regulations concerning the protection of data privacy (in particular those in GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and DSG [The Austrian data protection act]) and will do everything possible to ensure the privacy of your data. In addition, it is important for us that you know at any given time which data we store and how we use them. Please take a moment to read the following text informing you about the way we deal with your data. We reserve the right to revise the content of this data privacy statement from time to time, in particular to adapt it to new legal stipulations and technical development so that we can also safeguard data protection in the future. It is therefore advisable to regularly take note of our information and remarks concerning data processing.
This Data Privacy Statement is applicable to Kores’s internet presence under the domain: www.kores.com, as well as other country Kores websites (in the following: “Website”).
1. Responsible person and scope

2. General Principles on data processing
We collect and use personal data from our users basically only then, when this is necessary to provide a functional Website as well as to deliver our content and services.

2.2. Processing of personal data
Processing of personal data is any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
We process personal data through our Website only if you provide us with this data, ex. when sending us an email. We process this data for the named purposes or for the purposes defined in your request. We do not disclose your personal data to third parties, unless otherwise provided by law or you have given us your consent thereto. Apart from that you may use the general information at www.kores.com without revealing your personal data.
2.3. Legal basis
Collecting and processing your personal data takes generally place upon your consent. Should the data processing be based on your consent, the legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. An exception may occur when obtaining a consent is not possible and/or this is permitted by law.
If processing your personal data is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by us, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, the legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
3. Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. 4. Service providers for processing personal data
We employ service providers, who process personal data on our behalf and only on our instruction. 5. Web Fonts by fonts.com
This website uses web fonts provided by Monotype GmbH (fonts.com or fast.fonts.net) to display text and type. When a page is called up, a connection is established to the servers of fonts.com in order to load the fonts. For this purpose, it is also necessary to exchange the IP address of the website visitor. The use of fonts.com fonts is in the interest of a uniform, appealing and, above all, fast presentation of our worldwide online offers. 6. Use of Google services
The use of the services Google Maps, Google Analytics and Youtube are operated by the provider Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). 6.1 Google Maps (Web Map Views)
For our website we use an API of the map service Google Maps. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary process your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As the provider of this site, we have no influence on this data transmission. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy location of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
6.2 Web analysis: Google Analytics
In order to continuously improve our website, we use the Google Analytics service on our websites. Google Analytics is set up by us in such a way that the IP addresses recorded are anonymized, i.e. no targeted conclusions can be drawn about individual website visitors. 6.3 Youtube
For better communication with our website visitors and optimizing experience, we use Youtube videos that are integrated in the extended data protection mode. This does not automatically set cookies and request personal data of the visitor, it only establishes the connection to Youtube servers to show the preview image, for example. If you then click on the video or give consent in our cookie consent manager, your IP address is transmitted to Youtube. If you are logged in to Youtube, this information will also be assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before viewing the video). We have no knowledge of and no influence on the possible collection and use of your data by Youtube. The data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent and of legitimate interest according to art. 6 para.1 lit. a and f GDPR. 7. Juicer.io
For optimal display of social media content from various channels and optimize the experience of our website, we have integrated juicer.io from saas.group LLC, 304 S. Jones Blvd #1205, Las Vegas NV 89107, USA on our websites. After giving consent to this service in our cookie consent manager we are using this service according to art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing the user-friendliness of the website and enabling the integration of social media posts. 8. Sending e-mail newsletters in the Czech Republic
We send e-mail newsletters to interested parties and our end customers. Thereby we inform about Kores product relevant topics, about information events in individual locations and about our products. The sending is based on the consent of the interested party according to Art 6 Abs 1 lit a DSGVO. Unsubscribing is possible at any time simply by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter. To carry out the dispatch, we use Ecomail, an e-mail marketing service in the Czech Republic, as an order processor (ECOMAIL.CZ, s.r.o., Na Zderaze 1275/15, 120 00 Prague 2). The following data is transferred for this purpose: name, city and e-mail address. Furthermore, usage data (reportings) are collected during the dispatch; these are used exclusively for the purpose of improving our newsletter service and thus for the protection of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit f DSGVO. If you have given your consent to receive email newsletters in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit a DSGVO, we will store your data until you revoke your consent.
9. Links to social media
On our website you will find buttons to popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram…. These are implemented as external links so that when clicked, a new window opens with the corresponding platform. There is no data exchange from our website beforehand. Please note the respective privacy statements of the newly opened pages.
10. Storage period
Your data will be stored only for the period of time required by law. Your data will be erased, when you have withdrawn your consent for processing your data or the purposes of processing your data have been obtained or when the processing is no longer legitimate for any legal reasons. Any retention periods required by law shall remain unaffected. During the statutory retention periods your data will not be processed for other purposes.
11. Rights concerned
From the GDPR, the following rights arise for you as an affected person for the processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise your right, please contact us using the contact details above:
11.1. Right of access
According to art. 15 GDPR, you can request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information on the source of the data, the recipients of this data or categories of recipients, as well as the processing purposes.
11.2. Right of objection
If the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you may object to this processing for the future, at any time and without any reason.
11.3. Right to rectification
In accordance with art. 16 GDPR, you can immediately request the rectification of incorrect or the completion of your personal data stored by us.
11.4. Right to erasure or restriction
In accordance with art. 17 GDPR, you may request the deletion of your personal data stored by us. The personal data will be deleted within 7 working days from your request. Any retention periods required by law shall remain unaffected. If your data may not be deleted due to retention periods, only a restriction of processing may be applied. Upon deleting your data, no access right may be granted.
11.5. Right to data portability
According to art. 20 GDPR, you may request to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common, and machine-read format, or you may request the transfer to another responsible person, insofar this is possible to due technical means.
10.6. Right of revocation
In accordance with art. 7 (3) GDPR, you can revoke your once given consent to us at any time. As a result, we are not allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent for the future. In such an event you may not access our company’s online services to full extent.
12. Complaint to a supervisory authority
According to art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of stay, your workplace or our company headquarters.
